Heilpraktikerin · Osteopathy · Physiotherapy
Claudia Schütte
Osteopath in Essen-Holsterhausen
I combine many years of professional experience in physiotherapy with a five-year degree in osteopathy and the German licence to practise medicine as a Heilpraktikerin (non-medical practitioner).
In my practice, I allow time for a detailed consultation, a careful examination and osteopathic treatment tailored to the individual.

My professional journey
From physiotherapy to osteopathy
After completing secondary school, I spent a voluntary social year in England. While working at a centre for children with disabilities, I gained my first insight into physiotherapy and subsequently decided to train as a physiotherapist.
I qualified in 2004 and subsequently worked in physiotherapy practices at Neuer Wall and on Fleetinsel in Hamburg, while continuing my professional education.
To broaden my professional perspective, I completed a five-year degree in osteopathy as well as training as a Heilpraktikerin. I graduated in osteopathy with a Master of Science degree.
My master’s thesis examined temporomandibular joint complaints in relation to athletic performance.

Personal
At home in the Ruhr region
I was born in Hamburg, where I spent most of my life. Since 2014, I have lived in the Ruhr region with my family.
We value the region for its variety: museums, swimming pools and zoos regularly provide new destinations for family outings.
